Minimum qualifications:

  • Experience managing projects with multiple moving parts.
  • Experience addressing issues and developing solutions proactively.
  • Experience setting goals, creating plans to achieve goals, executing plans, and reporting status.
  • Influencing and communication experience. Experience building relationships with cross-functional partners.



Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing tradeoffs of budgeted resources, properly prioritizing work, and distinguishing between short-term versus long-term objectives.
  • Knowledge and experience using formal techniques such as Gantt charts, critical paths, RACI matrices.
  • Experience with using SQL to join and transform data and drive analysis of data samples within large datasets.
  • Knowledge on how to make work repeatable by creating and improving processes.
  • Excellent business acumen.

As a Copyright Program Manager, you will be responsible for creating policies and process across Copyright Operations to help us comply with international regulation, in the realms of scaled operations, tools and infrastructure, communications and narratives, and analytics. You will drive the team in their mission to help YouTube launch products safely by organizing projects into clear goals and tasks, and delegating subtasks and sub-projects to other team members.

Responsibilities

  • Manage team-wide processes around regulatory compliance such as objectives and key results (OKRs), project tracking, and executive reporting.
  • Design and drive process improvements and infrastructure solutions to scale our operations and enhance operational quality.
  • Engage with colleagues on other teams and cross-functional stakeholders to drive large-scale strategic and tactical initiatives.
  • Work alongside YouTube's Product, Enforcement, and Partner teams to prepare for product launches and keep pace with product and policy changes.
