Emtrain is looking for a Content Project Manager to join our Content production team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create project plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines
  • Delegating tasks on the project to resources best positioned to complete them
  • Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project
  • Communicating with the Senior Manager of Content Production to keep the projects aligned with their goals
  • Performing quality control on the projects throughout development to maintain the standards expected
  • Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needs or scope for the project change
  • Own the master project and resource allocation plans for all catalog and custom content development projects
  • Improve processes and standard operation procedures that help create operational consistency and predictability
  • Manage all aspects of content customization projects from sales hand-off to client delivery
  • Serve as the central client interface for content customization projects, helping to guide clients towards solutions that meet their needs while working within Emtrain’s predefined solution guidelines
  • Assisting the product with developing a content management system for our video library and other content tools.
  • Experience working with a content management system

Requirements:

  • Excellent client-service skills and talents
  • Exemplary organizational talents with strong attention to detail.
  • A resourceful, thoughtful and collaborative problem solver
  • Experienced managing complex projects including approaches to planning and estimation
  • A clear and concise communicator in both written and verbal communications
  • Experience working with a content management system
  • Experience and comfort working with technical resources and problems
  • Flexible and able to manage responsibilities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented, and time-critical environment.
  • 2+ years of experience working with educational, editorial, or marketing content including editing, formatting, and design
