Job Description:
Join a rapidly growing, high performing Elasticsearch consulting practice at Novetta utilizing Elasticsearch/Logstash/Kibana/Beats (The Elastic Stack) technology to support important commercial and federal missions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide project management support for multiple projects including scheduling, reporting, and stakeholder communications.
- Take responsibility for services delivery and customer satisfaction on assigned projects.
- Assist with supervision and mentorship of project staff, especially in the areas of stakeholder interactions and consulting skills.
- Contribute recommendations for the development and direction of the practice.
Basic Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience as a first line supervisor.
- 4+ years of experience as a project manager.
- 4+ years experience working with a broad range of DoD/IC agencies.
- Will be required to visit customer sites in the DMV as needed.
- Will be required to train for and achieve an Elastic Professional certification, such as Elastic Certified Analyst, within 90d of start (training and exams provided).
Desired Skills:
- Proven experience leading geographically dispersed and/or remote teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to engage effectively with senior contractor and government stakeholders as well as technical team members.
- Experience engaging with and supporting stakeholders in the commercial sector.
- Ability to thrive in a matrixed team environment and support multiple different efforts simultaneously.
- Passion for coaching team members to exceed expectations.
- 8570-compliant IAT-II or IAT-III security certification (Security+, CASP, CISSP).
- Willingness to become an Elastic Stack expert and earn the Elastic Certified Engineer certification.
Security Clearance:
- Active TS/SCI clearance (active polygraph preferred)
