Responsible for supporting a portfolio of projects on behalf of the Finance Project Management Office (PMO). The PMO manages key initiatives on behalf of stakeholders, and the individual will assist with monitoring projects or programs against plan, budget, scope, and timeline, facilitating project and program reporting, documenting key decisions, conducting ad hoc analysis, and identifying, escalating, and helping remediate any risks / issues. The individual will also produce necessary data to support project portfolio reporting and analysis.

Major Responsibilities

  • Carry out complex activities in support of initiatives with significant financial and/or internal business impact
  • Interact directly with committees and/or senior management
  • Support execution of key Finance initiatives, including the digital transformation strategy, and help manage capital investment portfolio
  • Deliver a high-quality work product on time
  • Facilitate discussions with senior stakeholders and conduct follow-ups in a timely manner

Qualifications

  • A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is preferred
  • Minimum of 2 to 5 years of work experience, with background in financial services or consulting a plus
  • Expertise with Office 365, particularly Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel; Microsoft Teams, PowerBI, and MS Project a plus
  • Background in project management, as well as familiarity with project lifecycle, preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
  • Highly flexible and adaptable to change
