Job Description

BEHOLD! We are looking for a Construction Project Manager for our Design and Construction team at our office in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this role, you will plan, coordinate, budget and supervise construction projects, including refurbishment of Sportsbook locations, from early development to completion while being an active promoter of the Caesars Digital brands. To proactively build excellent working relationships with host casino executives/owners, contractors, subcontractors, and design professionals.
What you will do:

  • Schedule multiple projects in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines
  • Manage consultants to design preliminary Sportsbook/Office floor plans that maximize space for effectiveness and efficiency
  • Perform ad hoc duties as required
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists
  • Perform due diligence to create accurate project budgets and retrieve required approvals for capital expenditures
  • Value engineer to complete projects at the lowest cost while maintaining quality
  • Direct and supervise workers, contractors, subcontractors, and other vendors
  • Requisition supplies and materials to complete construction projects
  • Obtain all necessary permits and licenses
  • Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety code and other regulations
  • Communicate with Director of Construction and SVP of Operations to provide accurate reports and resolve issues in a timely and professional matter
  • Maintain a safe working environment for all employees, contracts, subcontractors, etc.
  • Identify and plan personal development
  • Partake in regular reviews


What you will need:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Experience in managing large casino and/or hotel renovations
  • Minimum of 2 to 5+ years of relative experience and should be familiar with projects ranging from the 1Million to 7Million price range
  • Casino experience a plus
  • Good communication skills
  • Flexibility to perform different tasks
  • Ensures high standards, shows initiative, proactivity, and professionalism
  • Has the drive and enthusiasm for personal development
  • Excellent presentation/ public speaking skills
  • Understanding of technical drawings with emphasis on low voltage/electrical
  • Recommended to have experience with CAD and MS Project systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Must be able to travel domestically to support construction projects.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing


Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to type and talk on the phone for extended periods
  • Regular attendance in the office
  • Must be able to lift, carry, pull or push 100 lbs
  • Must be able to twist, bend, or reach with no significant boundaries
  • Must be able to squat or stoop with no significant boundaries
  • Must be able to climb
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to write for extended periods of time
  • This position requires a significant amount of driving
  • This position will be exposed to sounds at 90 decibels
  • This position may be exposed to a smoke-filled environment
  • Regular attendance in the office
