What you do:The Community Engagement Program Manager will lead employee community engagement efforts at Allianz Life. This includes evolving and executing our volunteer, fundraising and recognition programs to best meet the needs of the community and our hybrid employee population. The Community Engagement Program Manager will expand relationships with key nonprofit partners and build plans to influence broad awareness and participation among employees in support of our culture of caring, with a focus on meaningful, measurable community impact.

  • Manage and evolve programs that support and recognize team and individual volunteer efforts to support employee passions; determine meaningful ways to measure and share impact.
  • Partner with Community Engagement team members to plan and execute annual employee giving campaign, including developing events and activities and leading volunteer teams.
  • Plan, lead and execute annual charity golf tournament and online auction from start to finish, including sponsorship solicitation, registration, and day-of fundraising activities.
  • Lead teams/committees of volunteers by establishing solid plans, roles and resources.
  • Partner with stakeholders including Communications and Marketing to ensure broad awareness and participation through strategic communication plans and signage.
  • Manage and evaluate vendor-hosted technology solutions for efficient participation and tracking.
  • Complete associated administrative duties and support other Community Engagement efforts as needed.

What you bring:
  • 4-5 years' experience required: Experience in building and managing programs with a focus on impact; 6+ years' experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Experience with CSR software (for managing employee volunteer events, giving, etc.) preferred
