Job Description
CIB Wholesale Payments - Fraud and Sanctions Technology - Agile Coach / Scrummaster
The Trust Safety and Compliance team hosts CIB Wholesale Payments' world-class fraud and sanctions screening applications. We are currently seeking an Agile Coach / ScrumMaster to join our fast-growing team.
The ideal candidate will work to analyze the organization's existing SDLC methodologies and suggest and implement improvements across the in-scope agile teams. This person will also be managing medium to large-scale projects across the Fraud and Sanctions portfolios, as well as playing the ScrumMaster role for one or more of our US-based scrum teams.
This is a great opportunity for the successful candidate to become a part of an innovative team, leveraging the latest technologies and methodologies to build and manage first-class cloud-based applications that help fight payment fraud and interrupt sanctions transactions.
Responsibilities

  • Learn and Leverage existing agile practices and demand management within the organization
  • Assess existing practices, identify deficiencies and gaps, and create plans to remediate
  • Align practices across Trust, Safety, & Compliance organization
  • Create execution plan to make incremental (Daily, Weekly, Monthly) changes
  • Help train corporate teams on the agile methodology and oversee the development of agile teams to ensure effective outcomes for the organization
  • Bring in industry experience when helping implement tools, techniques, frameworks and practices surrounding product and delivery
  • Align and update Confluence product pages to be consistent across all product areas
  • Leverage and align Jira reporting for consistency
  • Create Product and Portfolio Level Dashboards
  • Create Requirement, Use Case and Persona Models / Templates
  • Coach teams to practice sizing/estimating and adhere to scrum ceremonies
  • Ensure sprints are aligned according to the release schedule and cross functional dependencies are identified, committed to, and scheduled across component teams
  • As ScrumMaster, ensure team has required skill sets and SMEs and that the team follows the Scrum process and rules
  • Help the Scrum team to adopt Scrum and enhance team and enterprise agility
  • Confer with Product Owners on critical Definitions, IE, Done, Ready etc...
  • Be a change agent with exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to influence up


Qualifications and Experience

  • 7+ years of project management and ScrumMaster experience combined, at least 5 working on large scale global software development projects
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Computer Science or related discipline
  • PMP and/or CSM certification preferred
  • Solid understanding of core agile practices, estimating, and planning
  • Experience facilitating scrum ceremonies (backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint demo, and retrospective)
  • Ability to remove impediments, solve problems, resolve conflict, and enforce agreed-upon rules with the Team
  • Prior experience in creating and improving agile processes within a team or a company
  • Project planning and execution
  • Risk-issue management
  • Strong written/verbal communication, coaching, analysis, and interpersonal skills
  • Solid JIRA tool knowledge
  • Experience working with globally diverse and distributed teams
  • Leadership capability and self-motivated team player
  • Ability to organize/manage multiple priorities and projects coupled with the flexibility to adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with MS SharePoint & Excel, Confluence Wiki, and SDLC
  • Previous development experience (preferably Java and SQL), payments and/or payments fraud knowledge, and budget planning/tracking all \"nice-to-haves\" for this role
