Job Summary:

As a member of the IFP leadership team, the role of Chief of Staff is to work closely with GM for IFP business to establish and lead the operating cadence and internal initiatives for the IFP Organization. This roles partners very closely with IFP leadership to ensure the operating cadence of the business is driving maximum value. This role will work on many of IFP critical business needs and will work across the organization to develop and assess creative solutions and recommendations.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Establish and lead the operating cadence for the IFP leadership team.
  • Lead and manage the leadership and staff meetings focused on clear outcomes.
  • Partner with IFP leadership to drive priorities across the organization.
  • Partnering with the EA, this role will ensure the IFP GM's time and focus is appropriately prioritized
  • Track progress and drive completion on action items.
  • Drive calendar of internal and external communications (in conjunction with Communications/HR).
  • Develop and cultivate cross-organizational relationships.
  • Manage and execute special projects, leading change through operational and process improvements.
  • Triage requests for the executive's time and work collaboratively with the leader's Executive Assistant to ensure alignment with the priorities of the organization.
  • Proactively follow up with the leader's team and/or key partners to ensure goals are being met. If goals are not being achieved, determine root cause and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Responsible for facilitating initiatives to continue to drive employee engagement
  • Manage annual governance activities, such as goal-setting, management calendar, Leadership Summits, etc.
  • Manage business inputs into monthly ELT and SLT presentations and other deliverables as needed.
  • Support continuous assessment and execution of the business' governance model, including identifying gaps, recommending actions & improvements, and implementing changes, to improve overall performance and effectiveness.
  • Lead ad-hoc projects as needed



Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or related field and a minimum of 7-9 years blended experience within operations management, program management, chief of staff, and/or process improvement.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Exceptional leadership skills; both indirectly and directly.
  • Exceptional communication skills to represent complex topics with a variety of stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Strong self-initiative and persistence with a bias for action; able to deal with a high degree of ambiguity and drive clarity.
  • Extensive experience with stakeholder management, cross-functional partnerships, and executive leadership
  • History of consistently delivering business results
  • Trustworthy, credible, and non-political; high level of integrity and excellent sense of judgment to drive organization-wide alignment.
  • Demonstrated ability to step forward to address difficult issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence without direct authority.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and the ability to deal with ambiguity.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively
  • Problem solving and root cause identification skills; Strong analytic and decision making abilities
  • Proven track record of delivering results of high quality and sustainability
  • Demonstrated ability to rally support around vision & strategy
  • Independent, intellectually curious, culturally aware, self-starter and importantly, a strong relationship builder.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, judgment, communication and ability to drive results
  • Proven ability to supply thought leadership to business partners and creative solutions to problems
  • Structured and well organized
  • Strong sense of integrity with ability to handle sensitive issues and maintain complete confidentiality
  • Ability to lead and influence in a matrixed environment is critical
  • Change Management and Program Management experience is preferred.



For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $115,200 - $192,000, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
