Job summary
The Red Hat Enterprise Apps Strategy and Transformation (EAST) team within IT is looking for an Operational Readiness Consultant to support operational readiness delivery for our growing cross-functional portfolio team. In this role, you will be focused on facilitating and implementing the people-side of strategic and transformational changes introduced by some of our company's most disruptive, complex, and critical programs and delivering against our strategic pillars. As an Operational Readiness Consultant, you will be responsible for the design and delivery of operational readiness plans across multiple programs and at the portfolio level and drive employee and customer adoption of changes. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business.
Primary job responsibilities

  • Work with a team of operational readiness associates, including a communications strategist and specialist, an organizational change management lead, and a future state operating model lead
  • Support the creation, management, and delivery of operational readiness strategies at both the portfolio and program level
  • Assess a project and business scenario for change impacts, identify stakeholders, and build a stakeholder management plan
  • Deliver against change plans for the duration of the project
  • Identify organizational and behavioral dependencies and risks; consult on more tactical communications and learning plans to support

  • Agile in response to changes and needs of various stakeholders
  • Analytical approach in identifying risks, opportunities, and dependencies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven experience in portfolio or program operational readiness delivery
  • Ability to tailor plans and approaches to align with a variety of needs and stakeholders and in support of large-scale initiatives and projects
