OVERVIEW
At Instacart we solve for the customer. That extends beyond the hundreds of thousands of consumers we deliver groceries to and includes many leading and emerging consumer packaged goods (CPG) advertisers that want to shape how consumers perceive, shop, and stay loyal to their brands. Instacart’s Brand Partnerships team is focused on serving these clients through our native advertising platform.
We are hiring a Project Manager to help our Instacart advertisers with their content on the platform. Catalog content is the core of how our brands showcase their products on Instacart to drive consumers to buy. From images, product descriptions, size information, and beyond, consumers rely on accurate product attributes to ensure they are choosing the right product while shopping ecommerce.
ABOUT THE JOB
- Lead and drive our content syndication vision, strategy and development
- Be the voice of the advertiser for catalog content needs internally by driving accountability towards deliverables
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders in Sales, Account Management, Sales Operations, Product - Ads and Engineering to develop and maintain an understanding of advertiser pain points and potential solutions with their current content processes
- Ability to prioritize projects that will reduce friction for advertisers when updating content on Instacart’s marketplace to increase CSAT scores
- Maintain an active roadmap and regularly share updates with leadership and other stakeholders
- Work with Engineering to build, test, and ship new product features
ABOUT YOU
- Experience working with a retail Content Service Provider like Salsify, Syndigo or inriver PIM.
- 5+ years of experience in a relevant field with demonstrated project management experience and a track record for working cross functionally
- Experience in solving Retail/Operational and with 5+ years of experience directly owning/managing large cross-functional initiatives
- Experience leading teams working on online catalogs, warehousing or inventory related products for an e-commerce company is a plus.
- SQL experience (preferred, not required)
- Project management certification (preferred, not required)
- Strong written & verbal communication
- Excellent attention to detail, follow-through, and resourcefulness
- Ability to independently manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize responsibilities
- Ability to work cross-functionally with many teams with varying priorities with a sense of urgency
- An interest in working in a fast-growing, fast-paced environment with changing responsibilities
