The role:
The Project Manager will have accountability for working directly with our Operations, Product, Engineering and business owners to manage delivery of key client-centric initiatives and projects. Position will have a keen focus on managing operational impacts and ensuring appropriate coordination and communication for items having impacts to our clients, their cardholders and our associates.
What you will be doing:
- Partner across internal teams to understand scope, key objectives and success measures
- Scope project and develop implementation project plan, measurable project goals, objectives, tasks, timelines and monitor progress towards achievement
- Collaborate across the organization to identify dependencies, the critical path and sequencing considerations; Identify, manage and maintain a comprehensive end to end project plan
- Collaborate across the organization to align on integration and delivery execution; Minimizing duplication, gaps and re-work
- Identify impacts to: clients, cardholders, internal associates and stakeholders; Establish plans to support communication, training and/or facilitate changes required to support business outcomes.
- Identify, proactively manage and track project issues to resolution
- Anticipate possible risks, establish mitigation strategies and execute risk mitigation plans to avoid negative impacts to project outcomes
- Provide regular status updates
- Ensure clear expectations, roles, responsibilities and track items to resolutions
- Maintain excellent communication across all levels of management
- Manage / engage with multiple projects concurrently while ensuring all project artifacts and operational readiness activities are addressed
- Collaborate across team to support implementation / go live of new features/capabilities; Partnering to inform/update: processes, procedures, training and communications
- Solicit user feedback to learn, iterate and innovate
- Define standard metrics to establish baselines and measure outcomes
- Execute significant change in a fast-paced agile environment
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of experience of project management experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience overseeing initiatives, projects and programs
- Track record of successfully implementing new systems, applications and tools
- Highly collaborative; Ability to effectively partner across all levels of the organization
- Ability to be agile; Comfortable leading change and continuous improvements
- Consumer / Client centric focus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Exemplary problem solving skills
- Demonstrates a strong bias for action
- Outstanding time management and highly organized
- Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
- Excellent MS Office / Google Suite skills
- Agile delivery experience, preferred
- Financial, payment experience, preferred
- PMP, preferred
