The Business Project Advisor within Evernorth Home Solutions will be responsible for managing medium-large strategic projects/programs in the home care and post-acute care space. This fast-paced role will have exposure across the enterprise and will drive the planning and execution of projects/programs that support operational readiness of new and expanded products, processes and services. The ideal candidate will be skilled at assessing details while also understanding how they drive the strategy and bigger picture to deliver high-quality, on-time results.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages a portfolio of projects/programs; exercising considerable creativity, foresight and judgment. Includes providing governance, planning, organizing, oversight and control to achieve project/program objectives.
  • Determines requirements, plans projects, establishes priorities and monitors progress.
  • Drives project/program/initiative results and ensure team members are held accountable to planned activities and overall objective achievement.
  • Effectively communicates both verbally and in writing to all stakeholders and business owners including the facilitation of meetings and working sessions.
  • Builds presentations to assist in communicating project/program strategy, alignment of stakeholders and reporting status, budget, and/or timelines.
  • Identifies and facilitates the design, development, and implementation of new business and/or operational controls, performance metrics, and business processes.
  • Assesses business opportunities, impacts and implications of potential new procedures/processes/or policies affecting complex business needs.
  • Analyzes and measures the effectiveness of existing business processes and implements improvements.
  • Serves as liaison with other areas of the enterprise, and potentially clients, to ensure coordination of required activities.
  • Interprets internal and external issues and recommends solutions/best practices. Highlighting and escalating issues, risks and critical decision requirements as needed to ensure timely mitigation and resolution.
  • Other duties as necessary.


What you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 10+ years prior job experience in project management and/or process development; health care and/or senior care experience a plus.
  • History of success managing cross-functional projects/programs/initiatives of increasing scope.
  • Ability to foster collaboration, value others perspectives, achieve buy-in, and solve problems.
  • High emotional intelligence, creative problem solving skills, ability to manage complexity, and comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Ability to travel as needed (less than 10%)

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $85,800 - $143,000, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
