Business Operations (Procurement) Program Manager

Workrise is hiring a Business Operations (Procurement) Program Manager that will be responsible for accelerating the build out of our newly established procurement function at Workrise. Our ideal candidate for this role will be someone who is analytically savvy, biased toward action and exhibits strong business judgment.
Why Join us? Our Business Operations (Procurement) group at Workrise manages our business spending, including developing informed perspectives on purchasing processes and controls, supplier management, and cost management. This position will be instrumental in scaling our procurement processes across all teams at Workrise.
What you’ll be doing:
- Evaluating current processes and defining/executing on projects that increase throughput of requests passing through the system with minimal required oversight.
- Streamlining requestor and approval workflows across various procurement categories.
- Onboarding new and existing suppliers into our procurement system, Coupa Procure-to-Pay.
- Shepherding a high volume of internal stakeholders through evolving procurement processes.
- Identifying gaps in data, collaborating with multiple stakeholders to receive buy-in, and executing against the plan to ensure accuracy and completeness of source of truth data across multiple systems (Coupa, Netsuite, etc).
- Creating Coupa training materials for internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
What you should have:
- 3-4 years systems management or process iteration experience, ideally in procurement/consulting or similar industries. MBA a plus.
- Clear aptitude for navigating complex situations, defining and communicating a verbal/written go-forward plan, and instilling best practices in stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical skills (e.g. Excel/Google Sheets, etc.). Familiarity with administering Coupa Procure-to-Pay required.
- Highly organized and a self starter.
- Interest in working in a fast-paced startup environment
