The Business Development Project Manager is responsible for partnering with the sales leadership team and all relevant stakeholders to manage the sales process from initial customer qualification through contract signature and deal execution. In this role you will develop, refine and enhance the deal management process while ensuring process is implemented and properly executed for all sales opportunities. As the Business Development Project Manager, you will have responsibility in ensuring all deliverables related to proposal submissions are completed on time and of the highest quality. This role will also act as a key member of cross functional teams including, Sales, Operations, Finance, Prod/Tech, Marketing and Legal.
Responsibilities

  • Provide project management leadership for all business pursuit activities
  • Compile, issue and maintain the project plan, agreeing responsibilities and timeframes with the appropriate sales lead
  • Play a key role in organizing, facilitating and documenting pursuit team meetings to ensure that all deliverables are complete and that the team adheres to the deal process framework
  • Participate, as needed in customer due diligence, discovery and yellow-pad meetings
  • Act as an internal "voice of the customer" to constructively review and challenge content and solutions
  • Ensure the winning strategy is articulated effectively throughout the bid response, showing detailed understanding client requirements
  • Maintain clear and regular communication with all stakeholders and close liaison with subject matter experts, making sure they are briefed early and understand bid requirements/expectations
  • Ensure response documents are submitted in accordance with agreed timetables, collaborating where needed with all relevant stakeholders
  • Prepare internal and client facing presentation materials relating to the bids as required throughout the bid process
  • Manage post-mortem "lessons-learned" reviews for all pursuits
  • Support Salesforce Administrator and other team members to ensure all relevant data is captured and properly recorded
  • Provide thought leadership in the refinement of the deal process framework
  • Ensure consistently high standards are maintained in all bid response documentation and sales materials through use of templates, and thorough content reviews including proofreading and formatting checks

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 7 or more years business experience including 5 or more years of project management, bid management, or similar experience


Other Relevant Qualifications

  • Experience in facilities or property management industry is a plus
