Mailchimp’s Project Management team participates in all phases of the software development lifecycle. This person will provide assistance to Mailchimp Go to Market teams to ensure delivery on key projects.

We’re looking for an Associate Project Manager to join our team who is a self-starter with leadership qualities and who can work in a dynamic and sometimes ambiguous environment. You will exhibit skill in focusing on results, establishing priorities, clarifying next steps, and collaborating with your teammates to meet deadlines and achieve desired results. You are an excellent communicator who is passionate about working with people and continuous improvement.

What you'll do here: 

  • Manage and work within project management tools such as Workfront
  • Coordinate and facilitate Go-to-Market teams to ensure successful delivery of work such as social, design, article creation, events and email. 
  • Establish and monitor plans, and ensure the realization of goals and continuous improvements
  • Coordinate as needed with stakeholders across departments, project managers and program managers
  • Work on ad hoc/special projects to assist the project management team where needed
  • Ensure all status materials and roadmap documents are compiled, aggregated and completed in a timely fashion and remain well-maintained

We'd love to hear from you if:

  • You have 1 to 3 years of experience in project management and Go-to-Market teams
  • You have an awareness of the software development lifecycle
  • You are attentive to keeping others informed about project developments and plans.
  • You are self aware and give attention to relational skills.
  • You are organized, have a problem solving mindset, and are comfortable presenting to and facilitating groups
  • You have a strong desire to learn and work with a variety of technologies
  • You can demonstrate the knowledge use of project management techniques and tools
  • You are flexible and able to change priorities quickly.
  • Project Management (PMP) and experience in PPM tools, such as Workfront a plus

*Mailchimp currently offers flexible and remote options in Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Georgia, Florida, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Washington. If you are unable to work from one of these registered locations, you will not be eligible for employment.

The salary range for this role in Colorado is $71,000 - $85,000 and final offers are determined using multiple factors including experience and level of expertise. For all other locations, the salary range will vary by geographic market and will be determined through the selection and assessment process for this role relative to your experience and our job qualifications. This position may also be eligible for an annual company performance based-bonus and/or a quarterly performance bonus. Mailchimp complies with applicable law regarding pay transparency.
