The Associate Project Manager will act as a product specialist and liaison between the program leadership team and all internal groups within Amplify, including sales, marketing, customer support, implementation and account management. The Associate Project Manager will also serve as the first point of contact and author of RFP responses. The ideal candidate collaborates well across teams, prioritizes competing projects, and pays close attention to detail.
Responsibilities of the Associate Project Manager:
Lead one or more concurrent small to medium sized content development and operational projects from start to close including:

  • Clarify and communicate project objectives and success criteria to partners and the team members while providing motivation, direction, and overall management to teams of up to 6-10 people including editorial staff, designers, product owners, executive key partners, etc.
  • Build and maintain project work plans, perform business analysis, write specifications, develop initial project estimates, meet project objectives, and coordinate scope throughout the project life-cycle
  • Track and communicate project status, issues, risks and decisions to colleagues, senior management and customers as needed
  • Develop accurate and timely project documentation, including status, risk, and contingency plans
  • Coordinate meaningful third-party partner and vendor relationships as necessary


Basic Qualifications of the Associate Project Manager:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years' experience in project management, grant writing, or similar field
  • Experience using Google Apps and other common professional software


Preferred Qualifications of the Associate Project Manager:

  • Experience in education and/or education technology
  • Outstanding writing skills, including attention to details of grammar, punctuation, phrasing, and structure
  • Ability to coordinate and communicate collaboratively between multiple key partners at varying levels of an organization
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
