The Associate Project Manager is responsible to work in conjunction with the Global Services delivery teams on the coordination of successful and timely delivery of 3E implementations, general consulting projects, and project management administrative tasks. The role will build strong customer relationships with key individuals and teams across Elite and with our clients. The Junior Project Manager supports and influences key stakeholders to follow standard project management practices and supports the Senior Implementation Manager with Project Management team administrative tasks as needed.

About the Role:

In this role as an Associate Project Manager you will be accountable for:

  • Project Delivery: define and deliver software implementation projects as assigned by manager; provide leadership throughout the project life-cycle to the project team and ensure that team members are able to execute their work effectively; serve as the primary client contact during implementations and is responsible for client satisfaction of same.
  • Quality Control: Champion the Elite Project Quality Methodology and the Express Services Package Methodology, both based on PMI principles, and ensures there project governance is put in place throughout all project phases
  • Project Coordination: Coordinates project activity to assist in maximizing commercial return for the company including adherence to write-down and write-off guidelines and policies; provide support for pre-sales activities including project scoping and project methodology overviews
  • Project Support: Support the Project Management team (PMs and SDE's) in North America, as needed, with project management administrative tasks such as analysis and reporting of project metrics, backlog/financial forecast, proforma/invoicing, milestone reporting resource forecasting, disposition of invoices, status, and other admin tasks as assigned by manager or Sr. PM of a large 3E implementation
  • Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate completion of all internal project management reports including milestone, backlog/financial forecast, resource forecast, status and other reports, as requested
  • Expense Reporting: Ensure accuracy in relation to recording of all time and expense related to the project, and the accurate and timely billing of same to the customer; Meet individual contributor targets for billable hours, utilization, etc. as set from time to time



About You:

You're a fit for the role of Associate Project Manager if you have:

  • 1-3 years managing software implementations
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Solid knowledge, understanding and experience of a legal or professional services financial and business operations environment
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, communicate with the project team(s) and keep track of progress for all assigned projects
  • Demonstrable experience of project coordination through the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Practical knowledge of accounting and financial principals and/or software implementation
  • Ability to work in an environment of change and uncertainty with sound judgment under pressure
  • Ability to manage a high volume of work and diverse range of projects and activities
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills
  • Competency in MS Project, Visio, Excel, Word, Power Point and other MS products
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%, depending on the stage of the projects under management
  • PMP certification is desired; or ability to obtain within 2 years of employment
