The Opportunity
We’re looking for a data-driven, detail-oriented hustler who will help scale our Retail business. You will work closely across many Global functions, from Sales & Sales Operations to Product, Finance, Risk and Marketing, to learn & execute key strategies to unlock pathways for accelerated growth. In this role, your focus will be on helping the business see around corners, collaborating with the Retail team to find scalable solutions as Afterpay enters new verticals, markets and grows to support Merchants of all sizes.

-Identify opportunities to up-level the operational excellence of the Merchant side of our Retail business with an eye to improving processes, escalating key business opportunities, and streamlining cross functional collaboration
-Manage key initiatives in support of growing Afterpay’s Retail partners of all sizes
-Assess & operationalize ways to improve efficiencies across Global functions
-Create business frameworks and provide analytical support to drive ambitious market growth objectives
-Manage & facilitate the onboarding experience for new Retailers, from demonstrating the technology experience, leading integration, product testing, marketing, settlements, reporting, and customer service

You will have ….
-Equal parts creative, strategic, and operational, with a track record of owning and executing solutions to hard problems
-A highly organized “doer” with an exceptional ability to multitask, take initiative & execute
-Curious, self-motivated, bias-for-action (“no task is too small” mentality)
-Technologically savvy or ability to learn new tools quickly - familiar with Salesforce, Google Suite, project management, business intelligence tools (or appetite to learn)
-4-6 years experience in competitive, fast-paced environments: management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy at a technology company, business development
-Enthusiastic about learning and willing to jump in and help wherever is needed
-Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
-High-growth start-up or retail and/or eCommerce experience is a plus
