Job Summary:

RMD is hiring an Associate Director of International Program Management for the Griffin and Paveway® Programs.

The International Program Manager is responsible for leading all international programs across the Griffin and Paveway® programs. This role is responsible for the program execution of international contracts to include all Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) contracts, FMS contracts through Eglin Air Force Base, and Raytheon Systems Limited (RSL) contracts in the United Kingdom. Program execution includes responsibility for cost, schedule, and technical performance of both production and aircraft integration contracts. This role directly supervises other international Program Managers, both direct reporting and matrixed through other functions. A critical responsibility of this role is to drive international strategy objectives through expanding platform integration for new products, as well as driving further product sales. This role will heavily support Requirements and Capabilities (R&C) in customer engagement internationally.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Full accountability for the international programs cost, schedule, and technical performance
  • Support implementation of the program international strategy
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to other Program Managers
  • Manage and communicate key program production metrics to drive behavior
  • Establish and maintain effective customer relationships to drive future business
  • Manage New Business Investment (NBI) to ensure budgets are being met and investment is being leveraged to support the international strategy objectives
  • Develop and maintain required documentation and analysis in compliance with contract requirements and the Integrated Product Development System (IPDS) such as Gate reviews
  • Support program strategy development and Long Range Plans (LRP)


Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires Bachelor's degree and 12 years of relevant experience, OR an Advanced Degree and 10 years of relevant experience is required
  • Experience leading large teams in a matrixed environment
  • Experience in program management of production and sustainment programs
  • Experience with program management tools such as Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP) / Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Risk and Opportunity Management or similar business processes
  • An active and in-scope Secret US security clearance


Qualifications We Value:

  • Program Management Level 4 Cert or equivalent
  • International business experience with Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program execution experience; experience with offsets
  • Capture Management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to lead by influence and collaboration
  • Demonstrated direct experience managing people or resources in organizations with budgets exceeding $35 million
  • Demonstrated track record of developing customer relationships to fulfill their needs and ensure their satisfaction and continued business growth
  • Experience with leadership and management skills in technical, programmatic and customer focused marketing
  • Demonstrated experience as a change agent, able to energize organizations to achieve beyond expectations
  • Ability to work across business areas, manage diverse tasks, requirements and commitments and interface successfully with numerous disciplines
  • Demonstrated comprehensive planning and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated experience with Gate Reviews conducted for Program Start-up through Close-Out
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with senior levels of leadership effectively - including customer, teammates, and suppliers
  • Exceptional judgment and decision-making skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with special focus on achieving active participation of appropriate individuals across the business
