Job Description As a member of our project execution team, you'll draw on your strengths managing people and processes to manage technology projects that typically span multiple lines of business and have firm-wide implications. You'll lead these projects from initiation through implementation, including: establishing project requirements, priorities and deadlines; ensuring that relevant risk and architecture requirements are in place; and managing the project budget and resources. In addition to collaborating with your teammates, you'll communicate with stakeholders across the firm to work toward the best possible outcomes. While this role is rooted in project management, it's a terrific opportunity to develop your leadership skills and make lasting connections throughout JPMorgan Chase & Co.
Job Responsibilities

  • Manage projects with top-down oversight throughout entire execution to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation.
  • Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
  • Make sure that all required projects are completed and reviewed by interested parties.
  • Review proposed modifications on project plans, including meeting with interested parties to approve and implement beneficial changes.
  • Ability to define the scope of the project, deliverables, roles and responsibilities in collaboration with stakeholders and business partners.
  • Manages and appropriately escalates: delivery impediments, risks, issues, and changes associated to the product development initiatives.
  • An ability to drive to big picture goals and milestones while valuing and maintaining a strong attention to detail.
  • Experience working with quality management approaches, techniques, and principles to ensure quality working with Product Owners and development teams


Job Skills & Qualifications
Required

  • 5 - 10 years of experience in financial services, digital platforms and/or software development
  • Strong understanding of and ability to work within Agile methodology
  • Intermediate level knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills so as to be able to relate with people or personnel from different units of the company
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build relationship across many fronts
  • Ability to focus and pay attention to details at all times
  • Ability to work in a team as well as an individual with little or no supervision
  • High-level understanding in the areas of web application programming, content management systems, API, database and system design
  • Self-motivated individual that possesses excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Strong sense of personal responsibility and accountability for delivering high quality work.
  • Full understanding of software development lifecycle best practices
