Overview
The incumbent is responsible for managing projects and activities required to develop and maintain the department. The incumbent will prepare, coordinate, and manage project activities with management, vendors and end users, while ensuring adherence to project timelines, standards and budgets.
Job Description

  • Contribute to the development of strategic initiatives and action plans to anticipate and support the needs of a growth-oriented company
  • Work with internal clients to understand their needs and assess business processes and workflows
  • Coordinate among multiple client areas to deliver solutions on time and on budget
  • Assist day-to-day operational aspects of project and scope
  • Minimize risk and formulate contingency plans
  • Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion
  • Participate in the analysis, design, training, testing, implementation and support of targeted solutions
  • Develop and distribute documentation to the user community as needed
  • Facilitate the company's annual planning process
  • Complete ad hoc analysis and reporting
  • Maintain and publish status reporting to track progress in achieving plan goals and objectives
  • Aid in the administration of management routines to review plan progress with company leadership
  • Complete special assignments necessary to support business strategy
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned
  • Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization's desired culture and values

Ideal Candidate will have the following:

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field required
  • 7+ years in analyst/project management role with financial services, mortgage banking, consulting firm
  • Conversant with technical and critical components of planning and organizational development disciplines
  • Contemporary knowledge of business concepts, life cycles, and processes
  • Project or program management professional preferred
  • Demonstrate expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices & procedures
  • Relies on extensive experience & judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • General computer skills, including use of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Synthesizes complex or diverse information; conceptualizes solutions
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of staff. Speak and write clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations, demonstrates group presentation skills, and conducts meetings
  • Demonstrate ability to advance multiple priority assignments concurrently and within established deadlines
  • Competent at working in partnership with team members to deliver expected results
  • Prioritize and plan work activities, use time efficiently, and develop realistic action plans
  • Look for ways to improve and promote quality and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
  • Stay current on project management best practices and provide expertise
  • Fulfill on role-based personal skill and professional development requirements
