Agile Scrum Master
Job Description:
Position Summary
Seeking an Agile Scrum Master to support the Payments Technology team in delivering critical projects. By serving and supporting the development team in their quest to do everything possible to predictably deliver high quality value to customers.
You would be leading development activities for various initiatives along with EPH technology infrastructure. Experience with EPIC, User Story review, splitting, and sizing. Knows what a 'good' story is. Works closely with developers and testers to ensure requirements and designs are translated accurately into working stories. Providing support to the team using a servant leadership style and leading by example. This person should personify Scrum and Agile. The ability to coach the team in self-organization and cross-functionality. Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment.
Required Skills
- Relevant Bank experience, knowledge of other consumer banking applications, strong communication skills, and Payment fundamentals, familiarity with the Bank's environment
- Experience being the Scrum Master or feature lead for an agile environment.
- 5+ years' experience with BASE24 on HP non-stop platform
- Proficient in TAL/COBOL/SCOBOL programming language required
- Experience with comprehensive modern API interfaces as such SOAP, JSON RESTful.
- Experience in the C/C++ programming language a plus
- Maintain a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation.
- Experience with assisting a historically waterfall team and organization with adopting Scrum.
- Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
- Experience with Jira or Rally
Desired Skills
- Payments or Banking background is highly preferred
- Assisting in the execution of product vision
- Coordination of production support, and continuous improvement of operational workflows and communication, etc.,
- Experience in physical/digital channel service or card processing domain
- Ability to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences
- Ability to simplify complex information
- Familiarity with financial services and payments and payment processing
- Working in large organizations and understanding of the culture these large organizations bring
