Description
Our client is one of the biggest Hedge Funds in the world with a unique "principles" culture that fosters collaboration and continuous improvement.
This role is within the Trading Tech department which is responsible for all trading in all asset classes globally. It comprises roughly 100 people. The Trading Tech department has client developers and EPAMers working very closely together and the overall management of the department lies in EPAM's hands allowing us to shape the setup of the department.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- We are looking for a Project Manager who can handle one or several projects within an agile, dynamic environment. A candidate should be wanting to learn more about the system architecture, understand use workflows, and speak with Tech Leads, Product Managers, and Traders in the same language. High-level management and reporting are not enough. An essential skill is the ability to clearly synthesize a status of a project(s) and the ability to adjust the report for different groups of stakeholders. A candidate will be responsible for the whole range of PM areas - from project initiation to delivery in production
REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent English, both verbal and written communication skills
- Agile teams' management - 1-2 distributed/dispersed Scrum teams (multi-cultural, different time zones - US/Offshore)
- Experience in establishing/improvements of Agile processes (Scrum-like, Kanban-like)
- Project Management (stakeholders, communication, risks, dependencies, scope, people, quality, schedule) in Agile environments
- Ability to learn and understand the complex business domain
- Ability to participate in discussions with technical stakeholders
- Ability to read technical documents, understand solution architecture, understand the impact of tech decisions on the delivery
- Ability to hold people accountable
- Ability to manage own time, priorities, and energy/state
