Must have PM SDLC experience.

Looking for a strong E2E PM to lead projects in the BSS portfolio. This will have to be an experienced Technology PM as they will be transitioning in-flight projects from the current PM and will also be standing up new projects. Must be able to 'run the show' with little oversight from client.

Qualifications*Required *

Minimum 7 years of Project Management SDLC experience. Nice to have Project Management experience in telecommunications SDLC. Experience leading complex software projects, requiring coordination across multiple technical domains, BSS, OSS, DSS. Delivery experience must include full life-cycle of technical software projects, from Planning through post-Deployment monitoring and transition to Operations. Demonstrated proficiency with Project Management techniques, including: estimating and budget management, financial terminology (CapEx, OpEx, etc), functional decomposition, change control, vendor management, executive communications, workplan development and status tracking, issue and risk tracking and mitigation planning. Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills.

BS/BA degree in related discipline strongly preferred (i.e. Engineering, Computer Science, or similar technical degree) Cox Communications experience nice to have.

Purpose Plans, organizes, secures, and manages resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives. Projects are temporary endeavors with defined beginning and end and are usually constrained by time and resources. Partners with project stakeholders, internal customers, external vendors, and cross-functional teams. Facilitates a cross-functional team to execute on defined deliverables and drives key decisions. Common deliverables typically include the project charter, scope definition, requirements documents, work activities, project schedule, risk register, communication plan, resource plan, risk management plan, procurement plans, project budget, quality control plan, status updates, reporting, and tracking. Uses industry recognized/generally accepted PM knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to achieve a project's stated objectives. Does not typically deliver content independently or render decisions which define final project deliverables. Role Description / Major Tasks Manages complex and strategic projects under minimal supervision. Reporting, communications, relationships, and sphere of influence typically occur within team, key stakeholders and senior management. Full accountability for planning and securing resources for tasks, allocation, estimation, scheduling and risk management. Software Project cycles are typically 1 - 2 years. Projects typically affect business unit(s) and/or entire company. Budget management typically includes costing, tracking of status and resolving cost issues. May provide guidance and direction to more junior project management staff. Develops detailed project schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Tracks key project milestones and adjusts project plans and/or resources to meet needs of customers. Defines and manages integrated, cross-functional teams. Project teams may require resources from ED&O / Application Development, IT Infrastructure, Engineering, Service Assurance, Security, 3rd party partners and others. Initiates, plans, executes, and controls project efforts that utilize technological solutions. Establishes and implements project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high-quality standards, and meet customer expectations. Develops and executes management plans for time, cost, scope, quality, communications, risk, human resources, procurement and integration. Translates project requirements into project objectives and tasks.

Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.

Project Managers take full responsibility for managing a project or program. They normally manage a number of related streams or activities to achieve a desired business result, planned profitability levels, quality standards and highest-level client satisfaction. Project Managers are responsible for the project plan, budget, structure, schedule and staffing requirements for the delivery organization. A Project Manager usually has technical expertise in one or more other domains (e.g. a Project Manager with testing skills could perform a test manager function).

Required Skills and Experience:

You are responsible for coordinating project performance with the Project / Program Manager and for the timely and economic utilization of resources assigned to your project. You contribute to the overall project plan, highlighting dependencies with other projects. You manage day-to-day project activities, monitor and report on progress, and identify and mitigate potential showstoppers and issues.
• Qualification:3-7 years (2 years min relevant experience in the role), Bachelor's Degree• Certification: Is at least certified on EM foundation (level 0).• Should have progressing in Negotiating, Vendor Management, Risk Management and Project Financials, KPI & Reporting• Should have baseline skills Quality Management.
