Your Role in Our Story:
You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to driving process and organizational excellence across our IT function and the entire enterprise. We are looking for two exceptional Project Managers: one with a strong functional orientation and another with a deep focus on IT projects. As Project Manager, you will oversee the overall planning, execution, and success of projects, including managing project plans, scoping, and key documentation to ensure everything stays on track while addressing any issues that arise. Reporting directly to the Head of PMO & Change, you will play a crucial role in building a top-tier Project Management and Change organization. In essence, your role involves:
Project Management:
- Deliver projects on-time, within scope, and budget.
- Define project scope and objectives with relevant stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans to track progress.
- Provide regular and accurate reporting to management.
- Identify and mitigate project risks.
- Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Coordinate organizational change initiatives.
- Perform Scrum Master activities when needed.
- Maintain standard templates, tools, and project documentation.
Stakeholder Management:
- Manage relationships with business clients and internal/external stakeholders.
- Escalate timely and effectively.
- Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors.
- Track and communicate project KPIs.
Planning, Reporting & Control:
- Define project scope, estimate duration, and resource needs.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Produce reports for various management levels.
- Track project performance and create action plans to achieve goals.
Leadership and Communication:
- Lead cross-team planning and resource management.
- Communicate project requirements effectively.
- Serve as a liaison between business, vendors and IT.
- Assess and manage vendors as needed.
- Organize and facilitate change board meetings.
Your Expertise:
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and attributes:
- At least 5 years' experience as a project manager, combined experience as Business Analyst or Developer, within Financial Services company in the Netherlands.
- Self starter, result-oriented professional with a strong commercial mindset suited for a dynamic trading environment.
- Strong understanding of business process management, software delivery and organizational change management.
- Adept at creating initiatives and strategies for problem-solving and optimizing processes.
- Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously and leading cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with agile and/or lean six sigma methodologies.
- Strong flexibility with changing project requirements, priorities, and timelines in a dynamic environment.
