Role: Project Manager

About the role:
We are seeking a Project Manager to join our creative team for a new financial services client. In this role, you will be pivotal in ensuring smooth operation and growth by overseeing projects that support broad brand, marketing, and communication strategies in a dynamic, high-volume environment.
The candidate will lead project completion through collaboration and serve as member of an agile, cross-functional team comprised of both agency and client marketers, whose collective goal is to elevate the level of creativity and support the organizations value streams across multiple channels, creating visually effective creative executions. You'll support, and project manage cohesive content across email, web, motion, digital, digital signage, social, and print channels to enhance the client’s brand and drive engagement.
What you will be doing:
- Lead efforts and collaborate with cross-functional business units to identify tasks for marketing campaigns and assign tasks to design team members.
- Facilitate delivery by removing impediments, leading meetings, and fostering a high-performance environment while serving as a liaison to all partners.
- Work closely with stakeholders and internal team members while coordinating resources, schedules, and project deliverables.
- Work closely with Scrum Master, Studio Manager and Strategists to gather missing information, ensure the team has a clear understanding of tasks assigned, that goals, scope, and product backlog items are understood and fulfilled.
- Manage the flow of projects through design and artwork, creating timelines, schedules, project plans, resource planning, and route work for approvals
- Maintain Workfront schedule, status, logging issues and tasks for projects.
- Support the Account Director with day-to-day tasks and general admin and provide performance reporting.
- Define, develop, and execute project plans, including scope definition, expectations, activities, and schedules with cross-functional business units.
- Manage intra-team dependencies while keeping the team focused on project goals and results.
- Ensure all marketing materials meet regulatory compliance standards, working with the compliance team.
- Maintain product knowledge and relationships with cross-disciplined marketing teams.
- Help resolve and document blockers, gaps in processes and pursue resolutions, and share results with management, cross-functional teams, and PM team.
What you need to be great in this role:
- 4+ years account/project management experience in an advertising agency, marketing agency or equivalent.
- Must have experience in a client-facing role, handling client queries, taking full and conclusive briefs, and providing clear feedback, make key decisions, and move projects forward effectively.
- Demonstrates initiative and thrives in a self-directed environment, while recognizing the importance of team collaboration.
- Proven experience as a direct liaison between brand marketers, compliance and creative teams, working collaboratively with all agency departments and clients.
- Experience managing projects in direct collaboration with agency partners, drafting and reviewing SOWs, and managing vendor budgets.
- Capable of transitioning smoothly between high-level strategic views and detailed execution, ensuring project delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and prioritize deliverables and resources across studio team and projects.
- Creative thinker, self-starter, and problem solver with strong communication skills.
- Familiarity with Workfront or comparable project management software, and/or Azure Dev Ops.
- Ambitious and eager to progress quickly within the organization.
- Excellent interpersonal skills complemented by a positive attitude.
- Proficient in Microsoft365 and Mac OS
- Agile Methodology Knowledge – SAFe a plus!
- Salesforce Knowledge – a plus
- Basic knowledge in Workfront + Azure Dev Ops (ADO)
- PM experience in Financial Services or complex regulator environment – a plus.
- Basic understanding and genuine interest in artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, showcasing a curiosity for exploring its applications and potential impact.
- At the time of this posting, the base salary for this position may range from $90,000 to $100,000. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. The range listed is just one component of OLIVER’s total compensation package.
