Project Lead for New Business Process Development & IT PMO (m/f/x)

Your role

In this position, you will be responsible for structuring and driving the business and IT delivery of processes for several new fields of business. You will define and deliver all business processes from requirements definition to go-live and hypercare, working closely with various business areas and IT teams in a dynamic environment to fulfill the following responsibilities.

• Define and align the target picture for business processes as well as IT system landscape in emerging business fields and ensure integration of new business fields with existing processes, systems and data architecture

• Lead the definition of global business processes and high-quality requirements while acting as a strategic bridge between business and IT

• Plan, prioritize, and deliver demands for business and technical processes within time and budget, following established demand PMO processes

• Assure scalability and growth enablement by driving maturity of process and IT environment in sync with business maturity until reaching a target operating model and handover into run-organization

• Conduct project management for all business and IT-related activities across four new business fields

• Coordinate E2E tests and product rollouts across various markets and stakeholder groups

• Guarantee alignment of new business initiatives with ongoing processes and key projects

• Build a deep understanding of ZEISS Vision Care business and establish a productive stakeholder network

Your profile

• Degree with excellent grades in engineering, business, or computer science from a leading university

• Profound experience managing global IT programs with a proven track record in large-scale process implementations, including cloud solutions and SAP

• Strong proficiency in business transformation/change management combined with well-founded expertise in multiple functional areas of IT (Sales, Operations, SCM) and deep knowledge of E2E process definition, design and optimization

• Proven track record in project management for both business and IT projects as well as advanced ability to deliver complex programs across multiple workstreams – ideally both in industry and consulting roles

• Strategic mindset with technological know-how in modular micro-service-based cloud architecture as well as SAP and non-SAP landscapes and cross-functional integration

• Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills for engaging stakeholders at all levels, explaining technical matters in a language suitable to stakeholders combined with resilience to structure challenging and ambiguous environments

• International experience across APAC, EMEA, and NAFTA, with fluency in English; German language skills are a plus
