The P6 Administrator is responsible for managing the PrimaveraP6scheduling tool in accordance to the
client and E2 Optics business needs. This includes formatting, populating, updating, reporting and
maintaining accuracy of the tool to provide targets for production, QA/QC, Project Engineer and ancillary
services to support the project.
Core Duties & Responsibilities:

- Updating and deploying project schedules to enable direction and prioritization of field staff activities and resources using Primavera P6scheduling tool content.
- Prepare accurate baseline schedules with integrated BOMs for approval by project teams.
- Design and submit 2 week look ahead schedules for all relevant disciplines to guide their resource planning, workload and prioritization.
- Interact with Field Supervisors to facilitate accurate communication of project status reporting data.
- Engage QA/QC, Project Engineer, Project Manager and other relevant internal customers on a regular basis to ensure P6 scheduling deliverables maintain effectiveness for their planning/prioritization purposes.
- Develop, monitor and update construction schedules to align and match with actual work completion then contrast to the submitted bid to identify gaps. Communicate gaps to Project Manager responsible for bid process. Monitor and report schedule deviations and variances that create significant constraints, waste or affect milestone completion dates.
- Prepare and submit SHIP reports through eBuilder as per client requirements. Solicit feedback from client to confirm reports and content are meeting their expectations.
- Responsible for incorporating scope changes, work package revisions, resource requirements and/or budgeted targets into the P6 scheduling tool.
- Ensure accuracy and credibility of the information contained in the schedule.
- Process construction scenarios in the P6 tool to identify optimization opportunities or constraints.
- Respond to requests for information.
- Travel: This position is generally expected to require minimal overnight travel (5%) in certain regions.
- The individual in this role should be able and willing to travel as required by E2.

Education:
- Associates degree in construction-oriented discipline; Bachelor’s degree preferred in construction management or similar
Experience:
- Competency using Primavera P6softwarea must.
- 2+ years as a planner/scheduler on capital projects with contract value in excess of $15 million, including design and construction phases.
- Must have experience with resource and cost loaded construction schedule development.
- Competency in file management with both computer and paper files.
- Competency with Office software to included PDF editor, Excel, Word, Outlook

- Demonstrated professional demeanor and communications with customers, field team, vendors, and management.
- Must be able to learn and support new and rapidly changing technologies.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Good work habits under pressure.
- Familiarity with a wide range of standard office automation products.

- Must have a good command of the English language in order to provide effective phone, desk-side, and email support.
- Is knowledgeable with quoting materials with vendors.
- Demonstrated knowledge with data entry and updating to shared branch documents.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The standard work environment for this position is an indoors business office and construction environment. Ability to use a computer and/or hand tools while sitting or standing for extended periods of time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk or hear, use hands, stoop, kneel, bend, rotate, push, pull, reach with hands and arms on intermittent to regular basis daily. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must regularly carry and climb ladders to 20 feet. The employee may be required to work in tight, confided spaces. The employee must demonstrate regular and on-time attendance. There could be a requirement of occasional travel by conventional means including aircraft, motor vehicle and the like within the region and to other locations as required. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
