Job Description
Bryce Space and Technology is looking for an experienced IDIQ program manager to support our US Space Force, Space Systems Command (SSC) customer.
Customer Background Information: Space Domain Awareness & Combat Power is the Space Systems Command Program Executive Office (PEO) focused on delivering cyber, ground- and space-based systems that rapidly detect, warn, characterize, attribute, and predict threats to national, allied, and commercial space systems, while also providing National Security deterrence capabilities countering those identified threats to prevail in a space conflict.
SSC/SZ-BC provides highly classified Space Domain Awareness (SDA) systems, Defensive and Offensive Space Control (DSC/OSC) capabilities, and space test range assets to meet current and projected Department of Defense (DoD) operational requirements. SSC/SZ-BC develops, integrates, tests, deploys, sustains, and supports operations for systems that meet strategic and tactical operational needs. SSC provides unrivaled space systems to ensure survival for both the United States Space Force and our nation. These systems span the entire acquisition life cycle. This contract will support multiple SSC/SZ-BC programs, as well as various other Space Force, Air Force, and mission partner programs.
The effort will support the development, advancement, and sustainment of weapon systems for Space Systems Command (SSC) Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power (SDACP) (SSC/SZ), Battle Management, Command, Control, and Communications (BMC3) (SSC/BC), and their mission partners. This mission area requires personnel with experience and an in-depth understanding of the environments that include ground, near-space, space, and any system that operates in those environments.
Position Responsibilities:
- Serves as the BryceTech IDIQ Program Manager and counterpart to the Government’s contracting officer representative for all program-wide contract technical issues, contract performance, and issue resolution.
- Provides oversight and executive level management to all personnel under this contract.
- Represents BryceTech at all contracts post-award meetings.
- Provides strategic direction, vision, leadership, and program management supervision and counsel to BryceTech’s contract award management team.
- Responsible for BryceTech’s cost, schedule, and performance on the contract.
- Ensures all positions for all Task Orders are filled with highly qualified personnel acceptable to both BryceTech Senior Management and our US Space Force, Space Systems Command-HEMISPHERE customer.
- Ensures that required deliverables are accurate and provided to the customer within the specified time requirements per the contract.
- Spot checks personal performance on task.
- Performs required QA/QC checks.
Leads generation of program management review briefings with BryceTech and team-mates. Schedules, attends and briefs as required on periodic performance review meetings with the COR/COTR and other Government personnel as necessary.
Description of work: The IDIQ Program Manager shall be a single point of contact for the Contracting Officer and the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR). The IDIQ Program Manager shall be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
The Program Manager shall be responsible for ensuring conformity to contractual obligations and establishing and maintaining master plans and schedules.
The Program Manager shall perform day-to-day management of overall IDIQ contract support operations.
The Program Manager shall be available to the Contracting Officer Representative via both telephone and email for a typical 8-hour workday within the hours of 0800 and 1700 EST, Monday through Friday, and shall respond to a request for discussion or resolution of technical problems within 24 hours of notification.
Qualifications
- The Program Manager shall have a minimum of a Master’s degree in Business Management, Information Technology, or Engineering.
- The Program Manager shall have and maintain current Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification from the Project Management Institute.
- In addition to the educational and certification requirements, the Program Manager shall also have a minimum of twelve (12) years of experience in performing program management support services for IT and Logistic Programs.
- The IDIQ Program Manager shall have current TS/SCI eligibility and SCI access.
