Honeybee Robotics is looking for a Program Manager responsible for technical and non-technical management of multiple space technology projects that will act as the project interface to customers and organize customer-facing project reviews. They will also lead project planning, requirements scope and change management, and cost and schedule compliance.

Responsbilities:

  • Develop, communicate and execute project plans, including project kickoffs; establish appropriate planning and controls details to meet project requirements, budgets, and schedules.
  • Lead smaller projects independently and larger projects together with systems engineers for teams consisting of design, electrical, software, project engineers, and technicians.
  • Lead team meetings, assign and record action items in agile project management tools and assure follow-through.
  • Manage technical and project-level risks, stay on top of scope changes and contractual modifications, and identify and communicate corrective actions.
  • Organize and lead customer milestone reviews such as PDRs and CDRs and assign action items, as required.
  • Compile and present project status, schedule, and budgetary statistics to customers or company management.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in engineering, technology management, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a program management role or very similar capacity.
  • 5+ years of experience developing and manufacturing complex aerospace products or technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP certification.
  • Earned Value Management experience.
