The team collaborates closely with industry-leading partners across the world to build and deliver best-of-breed hardware.
We are in search of a passionate and driven individual to fulfill the role of Wireless Technology Product Manager. You will help define hardware architecture requirements to deliver an optimize system experience. The right candidate can identify areas of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth feature and performance improvements, manage wireless technology roadmaps, recommend new features, write detail requirements, and engage with product stake holders to help drive implementation.
What You Will Do

• Responsible for technology roadmaps related to wireless technologies such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and IoT.
• Analyze Vizio's Wi-Fi architecture and identify areas to improve given current hardware and software architecture.
• Responsible for system level performance of the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth subsystems and benchmark vs. Competition.
• Competitive analyses to contribute to technology and hardware roadmaps.
• Propose new features, draft requirements, and work with internal and external groups to drive implementation.
• Work with hardware manufacturers and software stakeholders to establish VIZIO wireless performance standards and to meet the performance criteria
• Validate and qualify feature implementation.
• Excellent communication and power-point skills, well versed in translating technical product messaging into presentations.
• Using customer feedback and professional reviews to align on product strategies for Vizio and make sure our product is meeting the needs of the end user.

About You

• 3+ years of product management or technical/engineering experience.
• Expert knowledge and experience in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth technologies.
• Mobile software development experience a plus.
• Good understanding of memory mapping of application requirements and performance enhancements.
• Experience with Hardware / Devices / Consumer Electronics or related hardware device products. Working experience with TV Hardware or Set-Top-Box hardware is a big plus.
• Excellent power point skills.
• Computer Science or Electrical Engineer Degree Preferred.

For California-based employment: The minimum salary for this position is $ 90,000 /year. The maximum salary for this position $ 118,000 / year. The compensation package includes the annual bonus in addition to a range of medical, dental, vision and other benefits.
