We’re looking for a VP of Product to lead our Product team at Republic! 

As the VP of Product at Republic, you will manage our rapidly growing PM team across multiple different business lines that serve both retail and institutional investors, through both public and private offerings, working with a variety of alternative asset classes. 

You will work closely with the CPO and Corporate, Business and Engineering teams to help imagine and deliver world-class products that can drive the alternative investments industry. You will act as a strong mentor and coach to continuously create learning opportunities for the entire Product team, and partner with Recruiting to continue growing the team to ensure business goals are being met.

You’ll build short-term roadmaps to deliver products that help hundreds of thousands (soon to be millions) of users achieve their financial goals while also zooming out to help plan the strategic direction of Republic’s products with Senior Management.

Republic’s VP of Product should be hyper-organized and process-driven. You will bring transparency to the stakeholders and frequently report on high-level product performance metrics.

What you'll do:

• Keep our product’s position as the leading in the industry
• Plan and manage the priorities and roadmap of your team
• Work with Senior Management and Business Leaders to plan and execute on the strategic product roadmap of Republic
• Manage, mentor, coach, and grow your team of individual contributors; keep them happy and productive
• Partner with People Ops to actively grow and manage the Product team
• Own overall product performance and success metrics of your team
• Keep stakeholders informed and happy
• Be ready to execute directly whenever necessary to ensure deadlines are met and Product team is accountable to internal stakeholders

Our ideal candidate:

• 7+ years of experience managing a Product team at a tech startup
• Proven people management and coaching skills Fintech & marketplace experience preferred
• Proven track record of being organized, process-oriented, and methodical Proficiency in SCRUM
• Technical background and significant experience directly working with engineers 
• Strong communication skills
