About the Role
Particle Health seeks a VP of Product to continue pushing our solution and product team to scale and meet our ambitious mission and goals. We aim to become the industry standard API(s) to make healthcare data actionable and easy to integrate, in a highly ethical, patient-centric way.
The best candidates for this position will have experience scaling a Product org by multiple factors and deep industry knowledge and experience in the healthtech or healthcare data space. This person should understand the evolving digital health landscape, the competitive edge that access to clinical data provides and the pain points associated with implementing APIs.
Areas of Responsibility
- Digital Health Product Development - experience producing against ambitious deadlines, managing requirements, scoping, documentation, sprints and releases. Understanding of APIs and data-as-a-product, particularly from a Digital Health use case perspective.
- Product Team - experience growing and managing a product team that built and grew amazing products, led by customer and revenue opportunities.
- Customer Knowledge - experience leading a product team at a digital health company that leverages APIs, FHIR, clinical data to support use cases.
- Industry Knowledge - deep understanding of digital health pain points as it relates to data access, integration and workflow, how data is used in a breadth of use cases, and developer dream solutions.
- Recruitment + Hiring - in partnership with People, ensure hiring plans are aligned with product goals. Hire and onboard product team in a way that maximizes performance and ensures healthy turnover
- Team Management - Serve as People Manager for both ICs and Managers, ensuring the product team has what they need to succeed. Serve as advocate for direct reports and ensure managers can advocate for theirs.
- Team Culture - Build and nurture an inclusive, collaborative, and respectful product culture that reflects the values of the organization and produces extraordinary results.
- Team Morale - Ensure the team is insulated against the natural bumps of working in a small startup, ready for change and adaptive to changing circumstances

QualificationsRequired
- Experience successfully scaling a product organization while maintaining a strong and healthy culture
- Experience scaling an organization’s product output through multiple stages of growth
- Deep experience with customer problem understanding, evolving product-market-fit strategy
- Experience in healthcare data, integrations, digital health
Nice-to-Have
- Understanding of new regulatory changes, like Anti-Information Blocking and TEFCA
- Expertise with healthcare data workflows, health information exchange, HL7, FHIR, CCDA, etc.
- Data transports experience with REST, SOAP, SFTP, etc
- Prior experience with EHR systems such as EPIC, Cerner, Meditech, Allscripts, or Athena
