Job Duties and Responsibilities
As we near the launch and rollout of our 5G network and continue to navigate the changing landscape in television, we are looking to better leverage our data (customer data, operational data, network data, etc.) for both internal purposes, and to monetize externally. A key part of this project is to build the platforms and tools, establish processes around whether to build or buy a certain AI/ML capability, and establish better data governance across the organization. This leader will spearhead the building of this capability.
Reporting to the SVP, Chief Digital & Product Officer, this leader will build and lead a team of data product professionals to build shared capabilities. The VP, Data Product & Governance will build these capabilities in support of all our businesses ranging from our mature business (DISH TV) to Sling TV, Retail Wireless businesses and OnTech In-Home Services, among others. The leader will also play an important role in building digital-led technology capabilities and building the "Digital DNA" of the company.
Key partners/relationships: Business units (Boost, DISH, Sling), Marketing, DISH Technology, IT organization and various data and analytics teams.

Salary Range
Compensation: $200,000.00/Year - $300,000.00/Year

Pathan oversees the architecture direction, best practices and engineering deliverables at DISH Technologies (DT). As the engineering arm for DISH, the DT team works on technologies such as blockchain, streaming, hardware engineering and immersive media experiences for DISH’s PayTV services. “The most exciting aspect at DT is the ability to create impactful contributions for the industry by developing web-scale applications and differentiated experiences,” Pathan said. “Each team member is regularly encouraged to work on innovative ideas and technologies, patenting them in the process.”

We are developing capabilities on the blockchain to provide differentiated experiences to our customers, and the impact of this project is readily visible and quantifiable.
