We are currently looking for an experienced Vice President of Product Management focused on doing whatever it takes to understand the end goal of our clients and deliver creative solutions that give our clients a competitive advantage. They will serve as a leader of highly motivated, multidisciplinary product teams, our clients, and work very closely with our strategy teams. This individual will have a clear understanding of and experience in all phases the product management lifecycle including vision and scope definition, roadmapping, creative and user experience design, requirements specification and prioritization, iterative development, manual and automated testing, handoff and delivery… to ensure they can lead from a playbook of experience. The best candidate will have a bias for action and bring a positive energy to the team. Reports to SVP, Strategy and Product Management.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the executive leader of a Product Management organization, colleague engagement with successful product design and delivery
- Lead team members who work with clients to development and management of multi-year product roadmaps, as well as their underlying visions, strategies and business cases
- Player / Coach mentality for engagement with users, the assessment and gathering of feedback and continuous product improvement efforts
- Partner with technical development and delivery, in partnership with our Engineering organization to drive appropriate solutions
- Identify and assess technology capabilities that address key opportunities to enable more effective and efficient processes that lead to competitive advantage
- Work with senior leadership to create and implement product management strategies to maximize company revenue, profit and/or meet long-term business objectives
- Maintain deep connectivity with internal and external customers and the company’s broader market, in order to optimally shape plans and action
- Recruit and develop a high-performing Product Management team that continues to meet and exceed the evolving needs of the company
- Champion and foster a culture of collaboration and performance on the Product Management team and cross functional mindset
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested.
- Leadership experience: Demonstrated success in a large, complex, global organization and possess the ability to effectively communicate and influence across organizational lines (sales, marketing, channel and product organizations).
- Bold and strategic thinking: Decide new strategies, take big steps to solve BIG customer problems, and think beyond what is accepted as possible to create a vision that inspires.
- Ability to tell compelling, clear stories at all levels of the organization with a confident presence: Be a strong communicator who can clearly articulate vision and plan, and inspire teams and leaders across Bounteous and its clients.
- Understanding of challenges faced by our clients and have a passion for helping improve their go to market offerings. Alternatively, have a proven ability to learn fast and understand dynamics and apply insights/learn from clients.
