The Third-Party Product Manager for Digital Payments at Ally will help create and execute the vision for the Digital Payments experiences that Ally licenses from critical third-party suppliers. They work closely with agile teams to constantly ideate, develop, and refine some of our best products to ensure that they align with Ally's core strategic initiatives.

The Work Itself

  • Attend intake meetings with business stakeholders to align on product specifications that will drive impact in Ally's Digital Payments space
  • Gather and synthesize internal and external data sources regarding trends and opportunities in the Ally Payments space to inform product strategy
  • Prepare and present executive-level summaries on Supplier performance, Product KPIs, Voice of Customer trends, and roadmaps to ensure prioritization with deposits strategy
  • Manage critical supplier and 3rd party vendor relationships to ensure Ally is realizing optimal value from contractual relationship
  • Coordinate product testing and product approval from key stakeholders including finance, loss prevention and regulatory teams



The Skills You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in financial services; ideally with knowledge of banking products such as ACH, Bill Pay, Remote Check Deposit, P2P Payments services, etc.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to communicate concepts and align organization on decisions
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology and the product development lifecycle
  • Self-sufficiency and excitement for working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
  • Organized and thoughtful approach to problem solving; structures business problems clearly and effectively to create and evaluate potential solutions
  • Desire to work within a diverse group of people and passion for challenging the status quo
