Responsibilities:

  • Develop pressure control system proposals in support of outside sales though collaboration with product line managers, operations, and engineering to determine the preferred NOV product model configuration satisfying customer requirements.
  • Interact with engineering and operations to facilitate cost estimate, technical, and delivery review processes. This will require a full understanding of engineering bills of material, purchasing, and manufacturing processes.
  • Coordinate daily maintenance and periodic audits of equipment configurations, technical descriptions, cost, and price with product line managers, sales, engineering, and operations.
  • Execute cost analysis at the end of a project to determine profitability and material cost increases.
  • Performs light programming (basic logic) of quoting software to enable preferred product model configurations for use in sales quotations.
  • Perform other work related tasks as assigned.
  • Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree from accredited College/University in business or technically related degree, or minimum 5 years of industry experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings/schematics.
  • Basic knowledge in logic programming.
  • Excellent Communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Proficient skills with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience with Configure Price Quote sales quotation applications.


Basic Competency Requirements:

  • Demonstrated capability to work independently on multiple, complex projects requiring judgment to solve problems
  • Solid organizational positioning and operating skills
  • Strong interpersonal savvy
