We are looking for an experienced Technical Product Manager to lead the Data Integrations & Eligibility product development team in defining a standardized process for data integrations to ensure continued, successful delivery to our partners while building out integration configuration products that allow us to operationalize integrations and eligibility determinations
A major component of our mission to create transformative healthcare payment experiences involves the ability to easily integrate with payers, networks, and internal platforms and services while utilizing that integration to establish and facilitate eligibility determinations against Solutran's suite of healthcare and digital payment offerings. The Technical Product Manager of Integrations & Eligibility is responsible for integrations, interfaces, data movement and interactions between all digital payment and adjudication products and platforms within the Solutran technology environment. They are responsible for product planning, documentation, and execution through the entire lifecycle of integrations including, but not limited to, defining the vision, gathering and prioritizing requirements, and collaborating with others in the organization to ensure data integrity, reliability and that customer, consumer and financial satisfaction goals are met. Furthermore, the Technical Product Manager will be responsible for understanding the data flows, attributes, relationships, and dependencies between the various technical products.
You will be in the driver's seat and responsible for defining the product requirements, crafting transparency, and aligning across teams. In this role, you'll partner with skilled counterparts across the organization to formulate, ideate, research, discover, and deliver the outstanding data integration products and processes that enable the team to effectively grow and scale to support millions of members nationwide.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead partnership between Data Integrations and Eligibility product team and the Product/Engineering teams to identify opportunities to improve customers' integration experience and help the Data Integrations team implement integrations more efficiently and effectively
  • Develop and maintain a detailed, end-to-end understanding of every integration throughout the Solutran technical environment, including all dependencies, data transformations, and calculations at both granular and summary levels
  • Be a subject matter expert and liaison for the internal and external project stakeholders on all technical projects by defining and managing technical requirements, deliverables, and timelines with respect to integrations and data integrity
  • Lead, support and when appropriate manage the releases for our products, technical applications, major architecture changes, and support updates with respect to the integrations and interactions between the various products
  • Develop a deep understanding of our platform and technology and help shape our strategy
  • Serve as a technical subject matter expert on Solutran's integration capabilities and primary point of contact to advise and resolve integration-related escalations across the company
  • Be the voice of the customer (both internal and external) and work collaboratively with product development teams to design, deliver, and enhance product capabilities to meet all customer requirements
  • Gain a deep understanding of the customer experience, identify, and fill product gaps and generate new ideas in order to align the customer problem-space with our strategy and product vision
  • Collect business, technical feedback and requirements, define, and prioritize product requirements, synthesize the feedback into the product definitions and ensure successful product releases with high customer satisfaction.
  • Build and continuously refine the implementation methodology/best practices and identify integration patterns to inform repeatable and scalable ways to deliver efficient and successful integration experiences
  • Provide technical and project management leadership and guidance to the team to ensure projects are completed within expectations
  • Educate teams on product integrations through documentation and training sessions
  • Participate in prioritizing Sprint backlogs and planning and running Sprints and releases for technical scrum team

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Technical Product Management/Product Owner or equivalent experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
  • Demonstrated success defining and launching products in an Agile environment
  • Experience in application architectures, databases, SQL, APIs, etc.
  • Experience designing and documenting user flows and workflows to support application development
  • Experience using quantitative and qualitative data to assess priorities and influence roadmaps
  • Skilled, experienced, and certified in using Agile/Scrum or similar methodologies, Jira, writing user stories, and managing backlog
  • Experience in technical stack, platform architecture, and software integration design, and APIs


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency and experience developing and optimizing Structured Query Language (SQL) to analyze and query data
  • Experience in healthcare or health insurance
  • Experience with 834 or other standard file interchanges
  • Payments industry knowledge
  • Detail oriented with critical thinking skills - ability to break down initiative-level requirements into feature and story attribute level details
  • Demonstrated project team leadership skills
  • Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously; strategic thinking with ability to build strong working relationships across organizational teams in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate with non-technical and technical people inside and outside the organization
  • Exceptional product roadmap creation & execution skills
  • Technical skills to translate business requirements into terms that developers can understand
  • Excellent communication skills; written, verbal and formal presentation
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
