Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a/an Technical Product Management Engineer located in Salt Lake City, UT.

Reporting to the Technical Product Manager, the Technical Product Management Engineer will be the responsible for Analyze customer documents like ECO, product specifications, drawings and work as a Product specialist/manager/Change Analysts NPI and for Current Products.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Managing the Engineering changes through ECO, DECO, RFA, Deviation and AML analysis through MCO
  • Release Part list to production for new models & after implementation of ECO's Efficiently managing ECOs
  • Expertise in Agile (PLM) system for ECO, MCO creation, reviewing, routing, tracking, releasing and distribution.
  • Use BAAN(ERP) to review the implemented changes in agile and reflection and troubleshoot for any errors and discrepancies.
  • Manage queries from Internal/External customers relating to Product and internal and external ECO/ECN both
  • Ensures projects are following agreed policies and procedures
  • Change Order Report Preparation: Prepare and provide the status with reports including the Change information, Open Actions to follow-up the Change Order to Implement on time
  • Validate MPN and provide proper alternates if any discrepancies
  • Sound knowledge on FMEA and Control Plan and able to work independently in these areas
  • Follow up on CAPA, (Corrective Actions Preventive Actions) NCRs (Non-Conformance Report) and ECRs (Engineering Change Requests); participate in root cause analysis.
  • Participate/Lead CFT activities on improvement activities



The experience we're looking to add to our team,

  • Minimum 5-8 years' in Agile PLM, ECO/ECN and Document Control experience
  • Ability to manage small to midsize team
  • Detail Oriented and excellent organization skills
  • Proficiency in Advanced Microsoft Excel and Reporting tools
  • Experience in interpreting and consolidating multi-level BOM, product structure
  • Must be willing perform complex data analysis and prepare logical and structured reports and presentation to the management
  • Must be self-starter with strong leadership qualities to influence inter departmental managers and team members with data and facts
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills
  • Must be highly adaptable to the changing customer and internal business requirements
