Leads a team responsible for supporting the technology lifecycle of complex new products, features or enhancements from conceptualization, requirements gathering, product specification, implementation review and release. Support Product Managers and Technology Leaders in evaluating technical options and represents business requirements to the Scrum Teams through market requirement documents (MRD's) and detailed functional specifications. Acts as primary point of contact resources for scope elaboration to successfully release new products and features on time and within budget. Involvement lasts throughout all stages of a product's lifecycle including modifications, upgrades and maintenance of the product or product line. Uses differing technologies and system views and if required, acts as conduit across stakeholders (such as product managers, developers, architects, designers, internal and external customers) to solve complex business problems for product road map. Collaborates primarily with Product Managers, scrum teams and other stakeholders as necessary, to identify and close product gaps, ensure cost effectiveness of solutions by evaluating and developing systems and procedures.

Security Services delivers and maintains applications that handle Customer Identity, Session and Access Management for Sabre's customers across all channels and segments. We deliver services and third-party products focused on user authentication, authorization and Customer Identity Management. Our applications are critical to the company, so stability is very important to us.

What you will be doing Technical Product Manager communicates customer needs, technical, and business requirements to the team.
Help managing team's backlog and support requests, prioritize them in agreement with product management commitments According to product vision, accepts team's work and provides input into release decisions in conjunction with key stakeholders. Offers the functional knowledge necessary for the delivery of the best product and solution.

Individual Accountabilities:

Product subject-matter expert (SME) inside scrum teams
Scrum team stories, acceptance criteria, backlog creation, refinement, prioritization
Functional documentation
Acceptance/sign-off of team stories at completion
Demos (internal or external, as needed)
Scrum ceremonies attendance
Translate customer requirements and product roadmap to manageable backlog
Guidance to scrum team on functional requirements
Act as primary point of contact for scope elaboration
Additional Tasks Include:

Analyze, triage and troubleshoot maintenance issues
Provide day-to-day support to scrum teams
Be involved throughout all stages of a product's lifecycle including modifications, upgrades and maintenance of the product or product line
Collaborate primarily with scrum teams, product manager, and other stakeholders as necessary, to deliver the products within the timeline and budget
Interface with customer as and when needed to discuss requirements

Job Requirements

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's Degree, Computer Science (CS) or equivalent. Minimum 6 years related experience; prior Lead/Supervisory experience required. Advanced computer software skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to lead and direct multiple projects simultaneously; Ability to delegate work to subordinate or less experienced team members; proven leadership ability.

Key Requirements and Desirable Attributes:

5 years+ knowledge experience in travel/aviation
Security domain/industry knowledge. Customer Identity, Session and Access Management, EPR and TJR provisioning knowledge
System thinking, engineering rigor and technical acumen
Familiarity with web applications, java/javascript/css/automated UI testing, etc.
Technical writing skills, documentation experience (user and API guides, functional specs)
Analytical and decisive; balance technical innovation, technical debt, ongoing support
Understanding of software development lifecycle processes
Master storyteller and story mapper
Ability to prioritize the work backlog and identify dependencies
Experience with Rally, Jira is an advantage
Experience working in and leading Agile/Scrum teams
