WHAT YOU’LL DO

As the Supply Continuity Associate Product Owner, you will be responsible for understanding current challenges in the supply market for Packaging products and developing digital solutions that allows the functional teams to anticipate supply disruptions and proactively mitigate. Working with stakeholders to outline current ways of working and designing new cadences for continuous review of supply continuity solutions. This role will require tremendous collaboration cross-functionally with procurement, R&D and supply chain stakeholders to understand the current environment challenges, the source of supply continuity risk, and prioritize digital use case solutions to aid in prioritizing resources to minimize supply disruptions for raw materials. This product owner will be responsible for the development of digital solutions and activation within the function. In addition, developing longer-term risk management practices to embed learnings from the digital tools developed into Kraft Heinz everyday continuous improvement around supply and sourcing practices.

  • Set ambitious and clear product strategy and vision and communicate it effectively to stakeholders, the team, and the rest of the unit
  • End to end team output strategy from inception to production
  • Collaboration with stakeholders to ensure digital vision and products align within team strategy and product requirements
  • Accountable for product specific KPIs once solution enters production and communicate regular tracking of key performance metrics to stakeholders against product strategy and vision
  • Utilize market and industry knowledge to translate user needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements for their team. Maintain a backlog 3 to 4 sprints ahead of the team
  • Works closely with CPO to establish each product’s business value and support messaging, communication, and customer outreach as needed
  • Facilitates release planning with stakeholders as well as weekly demos
  • Is a key role on Agile team(s) and works onsite with the team on a daily basis, leveraging Jira, Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe methodology)
  • Integrates usability studies and research into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction and ensure customer driven design
  • Align outward facing product requirements and stakeholders

WHO YOU ARE

  • Bachelor's degree in technical field; Masters preferred
  • 5+ years of experience working in PO/management roles, Supply Chain, or Procurement
  • Strong collaborator with cross-functional teams from tech, design, and business
  • Proven knowledge of standard product management practices, technology and supporting industry principles
  • Experience with digital products, including product strategy, vision, and gathering of requirements
  • Understanding and knowledge of various functional operational roles (such as R&D, Materials Management/ Supply Chain and Procurement) and how they interact with product offering
  • Relevant technical skills (e.g., SQL) to support product management activities, data collection, etc., as needed
  • Experience with change management in organizations
  • Skilled in building relationships and navigating through organizations cross-functionally
  • Demonstrates team leadership – Experienced in assessing how the team is doing and drive necessary actions to improve
  • Demonstrated analytic and quantitative skills with the ability to structure and solve problems
