GRAIL is actively seeking to recruit and hire a Staff / Associate Director Technical Product Management - Lab Software.
You will:
- Lead development of vision and strategy for lab software to rapidly scale our capabilities and enable broad adoption of early cancer screening
- Establish processes and structure for effective roadmap planning, prioritization and execution of software initiatives and features
- Partner with software engineering, operations, commercial, clinical and product teams to ensure our lab software platform meets the needs of current and future teams and products
- Lead, mentor and grow the lab software product team
- Guide teams in development of key operational metrics, service level agreements and OKRs
Your background should include:
- 7+ years of experience in software product development, including leadership role(s) in product management
- Experience working in a startup environment, leading strategic and operational initiatives, and working through technical, operational and business issuesPrevious experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical or healthtech space
- Preferred: familiarity with high volume production laboratories and LIMS systems
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, communication and presentation skills
- Ability to collaborate and work cross functionally to get results in a matrixed and fast paced environment
- Familiarity with agile software development approaches and a track record of championing continuous team and process improvement
