Job Description Summary
Fleet Monitor X is a new digital product. This is the 1st step in our effort to update our digital applications used to monitor engine health, access flight data, and provide Diagnostics services. Over the next 2 years, Fleet Monitor X will consolidate functionality that currently spans multiple applications, into a simplified and easier to use experience.

As a Sr Technical Product Manager, you will work to create a clear strategic direction that will be delivered by the product development team. You will work with the team and deliver a clear and descriptive set of requirements to enable the delivery of product features and functionality. Your priority is seamless integration and alignment of perspectives from a broad set of stakeholders including but not limited to: Customers, Product Owners, Application Managers, Development teams, and Technical Architects.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

Interact with customers/stakeholders in VOC requirements-gathering, fine tuning and obtaining product feedback. Users of this Product are Airline Operators and GE internal Fleet Support / Field Service organization.

Collaborate with Product Owner to be in-line with the overall Product long-term roadmap, build sprint backlogs, deliver short-term MVPs and own quarterly releases.

Be responsible for establishing clear goals for two execution teams that support various initiatives w.r.t Product overall Roadmap, based on requirements and desired improvements gathered from stakeholders in Fleet Support, our Safran partners and more.

Work with cross-functional teams (Functional/Product/UX/Engineering) to decompose features into consumable user stories and deliver features.

Own and manage the backlog for associated PODs, continuously order and prioritize to ensure that 1-2 sprints/iterations of backlog are always ready.

Show increasing understanding of the technology stack and its impact on the final product.

Prioritize continuously in accordance with the understanding and validation of customer problems and needs.

Engage frequently with the development team, facilitate discussions, provide clarification, story acceptance and refinement, testing and validation, contribute to design activities and decisions.

Translate unstructured or ambiguous work requests into actionable user stories and work unit.

Support execution teams with resolution of roadblocks and interdependencies. Partner with Product, technical and functional teams internal/external to the product to ensure their tasks are completed as required.

Manage risks, scope changes and other non-standard events throughout the life of the product.

Ensure quality of deliverables is verified and matching stakeholder expectations.

Track product outcomes realization and customer satisfaction levels through established metrics against service level. Ensure lessons learned are collected.

Partner with Development Managers to ensure healthy development process.

Qualifications/Requirements

Education Qualification:

Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 4 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 7 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 9 years of professional experience

Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Technical Product Management or IT

Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience

Eligibility Requirement:

Desirable Skills:

Excellent problem solving/analytical abilities

Excellent negotiation and influencing skills

Experience with Rally or similar tools

Experience with industry standard design principles, frameworks and patterns

Good in handling conflicts

Willingness to work in a challenging and dynamic environment

CSPO certification is a plus.

Good Development experience in Java/J2EE, Microservices, Vue.js is a plus.

Working experience in AWS Cloud is a plus.

Good knowledge and experience in Agile methodologies and best practices

Has the ability to analyze impact of technology choices.
