As a Senior Technical Product Manager - Price Transparency, you will lead the creation of features and capabilities through the entire product development lifecycle (from discovery to delivery) and build an environment conducive to forming a high-performing team. Your charter is to help members/consumers reduce their cost of healthcare by guiding them to needed quality care at lower prices. You will work with an array of internal and external partners and collaborate on required data sources, UX design needs and utilization metrics. In this role, you will report to the Group Product Manager for Price Transparency

Primary Responsibilities:

• Guide a roadmap through the product life cycle of strategy, OKR alignment, definition/requirements, delivery/development, and go-to-market
• Lead the product discovery by working closely with a cross-functional team to define design, solution approach, feature requirements, and sprint plan for roadmap items
• Manage a scrum team and work alongside engineering and program management counterparts to execute successful and on-schedule delivery of roadmap items
• Collaborate directly with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to build alignment on solutions driven by defined problem statements
• Demonstrated attention to detail including ability to manage multiple, challenging priorities at one time
• Effective & targeted communication skills for varied audiences including executives as well as engineering team members
• Contribute to a strong Optum Digital product culture of continuous development, rapid test and learn and with a consumer-first perspective
• Use data to support hypotheses and conclusions for developing business cases and roadmap priorities that inform the success of your products

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years years of experience building software products in a product management role
• Experience working with engineers and designers to create best-in-class user experiences
• Experience with scrum and agile software development processes

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in healthcare
• Experience with building consumer experiences utilizing third party data sources
• Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, review and examine data sources for completeness, articulate tradeoffs and propose new concepts to your team and partners
• An impetus to start with consumers needs (jobs-to-be-done) and work backwards to solutions
• Willingness to dive deep into varied data sources and processes around provider costs, member benefits and cost share calculations

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $82,100 to 146,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600.
