Job Description Summary
As the Technical Product Manager for Data Ingestion, you will be responsible for operating in lockstep with the DISE Data Operating System [DOS] product management team to create a clear strategic direction for development needs and conveying that vision to both technical and non-technical stakeholders including architects & engineers. You will lead scrum teams with a clear and descriptive set of requirements and partner our broader data organization to determine what can be delivered through balancing the need for new features, defects, technical debt, and the overall needs for the DOS ecosystem of capabilities.

Job Description

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Routinely collaborates across ingestion & DOS architecture, engineering, & product management teams on multiple issues and decisions
  • Leverage your expertise of data ingestion products, specifically but not limited to HVR & Talend
  • Leverage your expertise of AWS cloud technology, including but not limited to S3, Lambda, & Glue
  • Interacts with customers/stakeholders in VOC requirements-gathering, fine tuning, and obtaining product feedback
  • Possesses a deep understanding of the technology stack and impact on final product
  • Demonstrates expert persuasion and influencing skills that ensure alignment between customer, product manager and engineering teams
  • Owns the release and sprint backlogs short-term roadmap for MVPs and quarterly releases.
  • Works with cross-functional teams to deliver features and major, complex products
  • Drives solutions with an automation mindset, prioritizes opportunities to remove waste and increase developer bandwidth
  • Contributes thought leadership to our Enterprise Data Strategy, defining and enabling domain-driven data ownership and a shared responsibility model



Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 5 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 8 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 10 years of professional experience
  • Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience

This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. GE will require proof of status prior to employment.
