Job Description & Requirements

JOB SUMMARY: This position will assist in the planning and execution of product marketing activities, including new product launches, strategic product campaigns and key promotions. The Senior Representative, Digital Product Marketing is responsible for collaborating with all departments and partnering on the creation of cohesive campaigns and advancing new digital capability for the website and mobile app for UPR's North America destinations (Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood).

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Product Marketing
    • Define and communicate business requirements for the development of functionality that effectively enables marketing strategies
    • Assist in the development and collaborate cross-functionally to help create product positioning and messaging that resonates with our customers, and then help turn that messaging into go-to-market plans
    • Support Digital Product Manager and partner with our product management team to drive the launch of new products and features.
    • Responsible for reviewing and monitoring competitive websites and trends in ecommerce, their particular specialty area/vertical and website design/functionality. Bring the organization's attention to new ideas / technologies as they emerge
    • Investigate and resolve any website functionality issues by working with internal and external technology partners.
    • Lead implementation process improvements to become more efficient and productive.
  • User Experience
    • Assist in the effort to enhance the online customer experience to drive engagement with content and features that reinforces brand persuasion and product scope and ultimately drives increases in conversion and attendance
    • Assist and lead in product (tickets, hotels, packages, ancillary) marketing and merchandising strategy for the online channel based on strategic priorities
    • Assist in crafting and executing A/B testing plans for the website and ticket store
  • Operational
    • Develop roadmap and timeline for website and e-commerce development and drive teams to meet deadlines
    • Assist in developing the annual Ecommerce and Website marketing plan
    • Partner with stakeholders to maintain and keep current privacy policies, terms of use, etc.
    • Assist in developing and communicating standard reporting and analysis dashboards that effectively communicates to senior leadership the results and business impact of online initiatives
    • Analyze product performance and customer feedback and respond quickly to diagnose and correct any problems
    • Intense focus on using data to drive decision-making process on future development and testing
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree Required: Marketing, Business, Communication or other related discipline.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ Years:
    • Digital Marketing experience required
    • experienced in project management associated with online product marketing campaigns, including managing timelines, creative feedback, approval cycles, etc.
    • experience interacting with clients to gather business needs and transforming them into actionable initiatives
    • experience working with content management systems preferred
    • experience working with Adobe Analytics preferred
    • experience developing and analyzing reports to measure program success
  • ; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This individual is responsible for driving growth in online conversion, revenue per order, data capture, and guest satisfaction (GSATs) by means of digital marketing initiatives. He or she will also work closely with the Digital Product Marketing Manager, eCommerce to deliver on other initiatives that directly impact these areas.
