How will you make an impact?

The Senior Product Manager of Cell Culture Plastics, will work with collaborators to develop and deliver portfolio growth and expansion, manage supplier relationships, develop marketing and supplier strategies across the globe. You will work with key customers and internal contacts globally to manage the product life cycle, assist in the development of existing and new products and market segments, and work closely with our internal sales and R&D teams to raise market awareness and build partnerships with key customer segments. The role will ensure that our portfolio meets the needs of our growing customer base, to achieve the annual revenue and profitability growth plan.

What will you do?

  • Development and execution of the Cell Culture Plastics segment strategy.
  • Lead interactions with existing and new suppliers on products.
  • Support operational improvement activities working with Customer Service, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Finance. Increasing the customer experience (CAS), driving operational efficiency and ensuring the activities meet regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Develop key supplier business development plans with a significant focus on increasing sales and margins. Develop new product offerings/packages of products.
  • Establishing strong and effective relationships with the global commercial leadership team to drive growth of the portfolio. Monitor commercial results to drive growth and allow dynamic focus and strategies.
  • Work with Regional Market Development Managers to enable implementation of Cell Culture Plastics strategy at a local level.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on the development of a marketing plan, digital and promotional campaigns and ensure roll-out of the portfolio through new and existing campaigns and formats to the customer base, increasing awareness and revenue expansion.


How will you get here?

Education

  • A bachelor's degree in business, operations, or a scientific field required



Experience

  • Minimum 3+ years in product management. Cell culture product experience and solid understanding of the laboratory consumables market, including distribution and manufacturers is a plus.
  • Owned a product portfolio, including pricing, forecasting and supply/demand responsibility.
  • Proven product launch and product care experience in life science consumables.

  • Strong leadership and influencing skills, excellent interpersonal, customer orientation and problem solving with can-do demeanor
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Confident presenter.
  • Highly analytical - ability to clearly define what our customers care about most in their workflow.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams
