Motorola Solution’s is launching new products into our high growth mobile video business unit. Solutions such as body cameras, incar video, and license plate recognition are key solutions our team supports. We are seeking a dynamic senior product manager to engage our growing customer base and launch new solutions from concept to sale.
Job Description
Motorola Solutions is building talent pipelines to meet future hiring demands. This is a pipeline role, while there may not be an immediate opening, we want to build relationships with prospective candidates. The individual will be accountable for driving the following behaviors:
Delighting customers with new video offers – as a product manager at Motorola your role will be understanding our customers better than anyone in the industry, as well as creating intrigue and interest via new innovations that improve their daily workflows.
Creating business value growth – you will own a portion of our product P&L and be accountable for managing and improving its fiscal performance.
Building market position – our development team will count on your strategic vision. You will manage a product roadmap and strategy that allows our solution to stand out from competitors and strengthen our industry position.
Basic Qualifications:
Ability to prioritize and articulate your product roadmap across business functions and regions
Ability to inspire, motivate, and lead designers, engineers, and data scientists
Ability to communicate well, whether in small group discussions or large-scale presentations
Exceptional analytical skills
Demonstrated ability to perform financial, competitive, and market analysis
Experience with video centric technology
Experience with SaaS product pricing
Demonstrated ability to lead small teams of indirect or direct reports
Basic Requirements
Undergraduate degree in computer science, engineering, or an MBA and 5+ years of product or portfolio management.
