Sr. Product Manager

About Us

At WeWork, we provide inspiring and flexible workplace solutions to help businesses – small, medium, or large – thrive in more than 150 cities globally. The future of work is happening right now, and we are leading this moment. United by a common purpose, here we will empower tomorrow’s world at work. Join us on our journey as we give our members the freedom and support to push boundaries in their industries and work to redefine our own.

About The Opportunity

Businesses across the globe are being challenged to adapt to shifting employee attitudes and preferences for hybrid work environments — part remote, part in-office, distributed. With this shift, companies are coming to us not just seeking space, but also the tools, data, and solutions needed to bring their employees back to work safely and efficiently and adapt to the “new normal”.

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to own an emerging product area for our Enterprise and small and medium business customer segments. You will collaborate with Data/ML, Design, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to define and execute a significant part of our software product strategy and bring to market new tech-enabled experiences that help companies manage their employees’ workplace experiences and help employees successfully navigate and collaborate in hybrid work environments. You will lead an agile and cross-functional team to prioritize, design, build, gain feedback, and iterate on new software experiences that will be used by employees and businesses of all sizes, around the world. This is an exciting opportunity for product managers with a love for map-based experiences, machine learning, computer vision, IoT/sensor networks, and/or data visualization to break new ground in solving problems that are becoming increasingly relevant on a global scale.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and influence product strategy, translate business and product strategy into clearly defined product requirements, and evolve an end-to-end customer journey into a set of compelling tech-enabled experiences that measurably improve revenue, retention, and/or customer satisfaction.

  • Own a new product area and build and communicate quarterly and annual roadmaps that align Sales, Engineering, Design, and Data.

  • Partner with Engineering, Design, and Data to execute the product roadmap on time and with optimal resources.

  • Partner with Engineering, Design, and Data to run agile development processes, including building and grooming backlogs and leading sprint planning and retrospectives.

  • Partner with Sales, Account Management, Design Research, and Data to engage customers, research and define user needs, evaluate new opportunities, design testable user experiences, and scope new features and integrations.

  • Partner with Sales, Business Development, and Product Marketing to develop and communicate clear go-to-market plans for new features and upgrades.

  • Develop a deep understanding of our users and business to effectively scope and prioritize features based on end-user, customer, and business impact.

  • Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding of your product area.

Requirements

  • 5+ years OR commensurate working experience in product management or adjacent disciplines such as program management, design, data science, software engineering, solution architecture or a related field.

  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.

  • Proven track record of leading and working effectively with engineering, design, and data to develop, communicate, and execute a multi-quarter product roadmap.

  • Proven ability to bring new products to market, test them, and pivot accordingly.

  • Proven ability to effectively communicate complex technical recommendations to executive management.

  • Experience working with map-based experiences and/or ML-powered products is a plus.

  • Experience working in proptech, workplace tech, or hospitality tech is a plus.

As part of our commitment to health and safety, WeWork — like a growing number of employers — is requiring all U.S. employees to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 as a condition of employment, absent a legal exception for reasonable accommodation.  We provide unvaccinated new hires a 45-day grace period after their start date to get fully vaccinated or, if eligible, obtain a reasonable accommodation.  If you believe that a legal exception may apply to you, please still apply for any role(s) you are interested in and, if you are hired, you will receive instructions on how to request a reasonable accommodation after your start date.  Please note that roles that require in-person work — currently, within our Community (excluding Member Experience), Facilities Management (including Security), Sales (excluding Sales Ops), and Member Technology teams — will not be eligible for work-from-home as an accommodation because it poses an undue hardship on our business.
