Sr. Product Manager: Identity, Access, IAM

Job Description:

This position is remote, home office based, anywhere in the US or Canada

The Micro Focus IAM team is looking for a Sr. Product Manager to take on the challenge of helping to position our world class IAM solution, NetIQ Identity and Access Management, as THE premier IAM solution in the industry. This is an amazing opportunity for the right candidate who has the experience in the IAM market.

In this role as a leader, you will be a customer representative for Identity and Access based security products.

Responsibilities include:

• Writing, reviewing, editing and validating business and technically oriented product requirements.
• Representing the customer voice to engineering for a positive customer experience
• Ensure product sales deliverables represent our product capabilities and vision
• Translate engineering concerns and tasks to product owners for integration into planning
• Consume and replay customer facing road maps for a subset of IAM products (deliver road map presentations)
• Research, investigate and advise on competitive products in order to document and communicate effects on product planning and futures
• Represent IAM and Security (and integration with other SRG products) in a positive light at industry events, user groups, etc.
• Consume intelligence around new capabilities that improve product competitive positioning and recommend functionality / feature inclusion to existing and future products
• Review and support Marketing materials across the IAM portfolio to improve positioning and competitive offerings
